I decided to follow some advice I gave to my sister the other day. I suggested to her if she was going to renovate your bathroom was to move one of the internal walls back a little bit to allow her to fit a bathtub and shower into her bathroom. I too was having the same dilemma as her we wanted to put some shelving wall because we were also looking to have some wall-mounted radiators or towel warmers on the wall so this was proving to be a little bit of a tight squeeze.
Eventually I too also decided that this plan would really work in we moved the internal wall from our bedroom to accommodate some extra space in the bathroom. I must say I love the feel of having a shower and then stepping out into a nice warm cozy spacious bathroom wrapping yourself with a nice warm towel that has been on a chrome towel warmer it just feels so nice especially during the cold winter months. I like to do a bit of training and I train every single day so this is a room that I actually use every single day without fail.
The extra space now allows us to put a shelving unit towel warmer on one wall with lots of room for us to move without having to negotiate any other objects in the bathroom. It’s quite interesting how moving a wall slightly can make such a big difference.
We’ve also decided to use ceramic tiles in the bathroom also we have picked out the color and are expecting them to be delivered in the next couple of days. I’m hoping that once we get everything delivered and all the parts that we need to have this job done over a weekend. I’m also hoping that the wife will like the style and design once we are completely finished. I have also ordered a new shower enclosure that should fit perfectly into the whole new design of the room itself. Once everything is done I may actually publish some pictures here on the site so you can have a look at and see what you think.
