The winter is starting to set in hard here now and today has been the coldest day so for. Unfortunately I’ve just spent the past couple of hours in the workshop and I am now absolutely frozen. I’m actually sitting here drinking warm coffee to try and get heat back into my body. I’ve just been outside doing some cutting with my Bosch jigsaw. It’s something that I’ve had for a number of years and has been a longtime friend to me.
Whilst I was working away one of my close friends called by just to see how I was. She noticed that I was doing some work with the jigsaw and have informed me that he had recently purchased a Bosch 52318 jigsaw on the Internet for an absolute bargain. It was something that he had been looking at in a local store and decided that he would do some price checks and comparisons. Look he did, because he was able to find an online retailer selling it at 40% less than our local store. It’s amazing you simply take a little bit of time out and do some research and also do some price comparisons how much money you can actually save.
It’s quite interesting the amount of value that is presently in their at this time a year. Normally you would think that retailers will be trying to make good margin because lots of people are out shopping. But, not so on the Internet there is a lot of value to find once you start looking. There are many online stores now and it’s really a matter of checking out the big ones to make sure that you are dealing with a reputable company. I always suggest that you check feedback, consumer reviews and their after sales service before making a purchase on the Internet. I have done this many times, I have unfortunately encountered a number of what you would call fly by nights. Who, just seemed to be out there to rip people off, most of these are on auction sites and do not actually have their own online business. So it’s really a matter of just being on your guard when making any online purchases.
Anyway I am starting to warm up and I can just sitting in here in my home after being out in the workshop in this cold weather has made me feel a little bit better. I think over the next couple of weeks as I have free time I will be posting a lot more to this blog. It’s very enjoyable and it’s nice to pass on a little bit of advice on some of the products I use in some of the things I use on a daily basis. Until still the next time bye-bye for now
