I was talking to my sister today and during the conversation it came up that I was doing some renovations at home. I told her I was starting on the bathroom and that we were going to be replacing this shower unit and adding a number of things like a towel radiator. Or if my wife has her way with actually be putting in a couple of towel radiators. Anyway, my sister wants to know a little bit more about what we’re doing so decided to call over to see us. I’m always suspicious when she does this because I know she’s going to go home until her husband what we are doing and he is going to be blaming me. It’s a long-running joke in the family but I always seem to get the blame when my sister comes up with any notions of doing some home improvements.
So about an hour later my sister arrived with a handful of catalogs and magazines that she had been collecting for the past couple of months which the long-term plan of doing something similar to what we were doing. She told me she’s actually thinking of replacing the shower completely on putting in a bathtub. She had the measurements of her bathroom with her and with a little bit of work and possibly pushing one of the interior walls out slightly she actually has enough space to fit both of them in. Pushing out the exterior wall will make her son’s bedroom slightly smaller. But, it’s not really going to make much difference however it will make a big difference to the overall style and design of her bathroom.
We started to look through the various magazines and catalogs and my wife spotted a heated towel bar that was very unusual looking. We have been looking at many websites and I have seen so many heated towel bars that I think I know every single manufacturer and design out there. Funny thing was some of the ones that were available in one of the magazines were really quite attractive on the design elements really added to the overall styles of the bathrooms. We had a quick look at the website just to see what prices they were as it’s something my sister wished to have a look at. To be honest they were very reasonable and the fact that they had overnight delivery we decompressed my sister who I sent home about one hour later with all her magazines and catalogs and let her deal with her husband. I’m sure I’ll hear from him in the next few days.
