Getting Ready To Do Some DIY at Home

The house I currently live in I moved into about seven years ago and at the time we didn’t have a lot of money. We decided a few weeks ago that we need to start doing a little bit of renovation and adding value to our home. Mainly because the property market has slumped in there is no chance of buying a new home so we decided to invest in our current home instead.

One of the first areas I definitely want to look at is our bathroom also want to add a few features and change a few things. One thing I’m not crazy about is the shower as it was in place by the builders before we moved in and before we had any say. Because we got this house because somebody else had pulled out and on the work that was previously done they would not change. This is definitely one of the things on my agenda because I think they installed probably the cheapest unit they could find at the time. Overall sometimes the bathroom as cold and we have to remove the old towel radiator and probably install a new one. At the moment there is no heat coming from this and although I have tried my best to fix the one that is in the bathroom is of absolutely no use. We have enough space to fit a couple of bathroom towel rails as well as heating up your towel when you are in a share my wife generally uses them for drying clothes during the wintertime when it is cold and dumped outside not really what you should use a towel warmer for but try telling here that.

I’m also thinking of replacing the sink unit assists a game is a little bit small and I have no idea why this was put in in the first place. It’s crazy you think me just begin to DIY would’ve been here at the time when all these were done but unfortunately because the previous owner decided not to purchase the builders of the time would not change this stuff. And also we only have a young family and no money to spend on extra fittings that at the time to not seem to be needed.

I’m hoping in the next two days to purchase the shower unit and the towel rails that way I can hopefully get these at good value from our local home improvements merchant. Interesting amazing the value you can get to where I shop because I remember a few weeks ago a friend of mine Damien called over as he was looking to replace some radiators in his home we were able to save him some money by simply looking in a couple of different merchants and as ever the one I generally use came in at better value.
