Do you really need designer fittings in your bathroom?

Last time I was writing here on the blog I was talking about bathroom towel warmers and the fact that we are at present starting to renovate our bathroom because to be honest it needs a bit of attention. It’s funny how it’s easy to do jobs for the people but we seem to put anything around their own homes on the long finger. I guess this is just nature or maybe just something that has always been the same in my family, we tend to help other people out easily and work on projects for them (because of also getting paid not forgetting). But, when it comes to working on projects on our own home they can sometimes be just left it too long.

So I’ve been doing a little bit of research on the Internet and also check out some local suppliers to see what is available. I particularly like chrome radiators because they add a nice style to the overall feel and design of a bathroom. I’ve come across many designer radiators and some of them are a little bit wacky and a bit beyond what I would actually like to put in my own home. But, I also need to contend with my wife as she particularly liked one of the designer towel rails but their dimensions would not enable it to fit comfortably in their bathroom.

It’s funny the amount of styles and different types that you can find it there I suppose the Internet has made more and more of these available no longer do we just rely on what is available in a local DIY stores we can now view many different styles and types from all over the world in minutes. It’s also interesting because it allows us to see the pricing difference across the world many of these items in a local stores can be purchased online much cheaper because they have less overheads I guess or is it simply that our local DIY stores are overcharging.

Anyway it’s on with getting this project started until next time cheers.
